DAZN recently introduced an option that allows users to watch selected content for free. Sports fans need an account for this, but do not have to take out a paid subscription.
Without a subscription: You can stream this content on DAZN for free
As the company announced, users will be able to watch a selection of international soccer matches live, including Serie A, LaLiga, Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League. Highlights from the UEFA Champions League will also be available free of charge immediately after the final whistle.
The free service also includes women’s sport including the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the Women’s Bundesliga and the linear DAZN Rise channel. Sports documentaries from around the world are also available.
Is DAZN trying to polish up its image?
The news of the freely available content comes just a short time after DAZN introduced rather negative innovations. In the past, the streaming provider raised prices and introduced a new, more limited subscription model. Now the company seems to want to score points with free content.
Subscribers currently pay 29.99 euros for DAZN Unlimited with a monthly subscription. It includes Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League matches, among others. Users can also book the DAZN Super Sports subscription for 19.99 euros, which also includes international sports such as NFL and NBA games.
With DAZN World, users have access to top international sport such as soccer, handball, darts, women’s sport and linear channels such as DAZN FAST-Plus, DAZN-Rise and Eurosport 1 and 2, for which they pay from 6.99 euros per month.
